Fall 2025 Graduate Program Scholarship Information

This page is a resource for graduate scholarships currently offered for students enrolling for Fall 2025 in graduate programs at the Oakland and Silicon Valley campuses. While it is up to date, it may not be comprehensive; individual students may be eligible for additional scholarships and awards not listed here. Each new student’s offer of admission will include details of their individual financial package, including qualifying scholarships.

General Scholarships

The following scholarships are available for students in all upcoming terms, not limited to fall 2025.

Double Husky Scholarship
This program provides a tuition discount of up to 25% to all incoming students who are Northeastern alumni. This scholarship is automatically applied to all eligible applications. All master’s programs at the Oakland and Silicon Valley campuses are eligible for this scholarship.

Full Circle Scholarship
Graduate applicants who have served in the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Teach for America, or who have spent 1+ years teaching English abroad are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which awards a 25% tuition discount. The standard graduate application includes the option to be considered.

Scholarships by Academic College

The following scholarships are uniquely offered for students enrolling in fall 2025, and are determined by the college, program, and campus of enrollment. The standard graduate application will include assessment for eligibility for these scholarships.

College of Arts, Media, and Design (CAMD)
Students admitted to the MS in Game Science and Design program at the Oakland campus for fall 2025 will receive a 40% scholarship. This is available to both domestic and international students.

College of Engineering (COE)
Students admitted to the MS in Information Systems and the MS in Information Systems Bridge program at either the Silicon Valley or the Oakland campus will receive a 25% scholarship. This is available to both domestic and international students, and is stackable with other individually-offered scholarships up to a cap of 50%.

College of Professional Studies (CPS)
All admitted students, domestic and international, will receive a baseline 15% scholarship at the California campuses. The Leaders and Scholars Award, which is determined by an incoming student’s previous GPA, will increase that scholarship for selected students up to a 30% maximum. The programs offered by CPS are MPS in Analytics at both Oakland and Silicon Valley, and MS in Project Management at Silicon Valley.

College of Science (COS)
Students admitted to the MS in Bioinformatics or the MS in Biotechnology programs at the Oakland campus will receive a 25% scholarship. This is available to both international and domestic students.

College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH)
Students admitted to the Master of Public Policy or the Master of Public Administration programs at the Oakland campus will receive a 50% scholarship. This is available to both international and domestic students.

D’Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB)
Students admitted to the MS in Business Analytics program will receive a 20% scholarship. This is available to both international and domestic students.

Khoury College of Computer Sciences
All admitted students, domestic and international, will receive a baseline 15% scholarship at the California campuses. Based on incoming GPA, this may be increased to up to a 25% scholarship for selected students. The programs offered by Khoury College are MS in Computer Science and MS in Computer Science – Align at both the Oakland and the Silicon Valley campuses, and the MS in Data Science, MS in Data Science – Align, and MS in Artificial Intelligence programs at the Silicon Valley campus only.

Mills College at Northeastern
Domestic students (U.S. citizens or permanent residents) admitted to a master’s program for Fall 2025 will receive a 5% scholarship. Eligible programs are the MA in Early Childhood Education and the MA in Educational Leadership, both offered only at the Oakland campus.
